SAMS has a broad remit to advance education in the field of management studies and, in the fulfilment of that, it has developed and supported various funding schemes intended to develop and promote PhD studies, research grants, event organisation and other aspects of management studies.
Developing the Management Studies Community
A bi-annual funding scheme to support the creation and organisation of events and activities intended to benefit the management studies community as a whole.
Small Research Grants
A small, bi-annual research grant scheme operated in conjunction with the British Academy for Humanities and Social Sciences.
SAMS Scholarships
Five PhD scholarships created for UK students. This scheme is no longer running.
